Athira Lukaszewicz

BHSc (Acupuncture)

Athira is a devoted Classical Chinese Medicine Physician, weaving together the art of pulse diagnosis, acupuncture, herbal medicine, and dietary therapy into a harmonious healing practice. Her journey began over twenty years ago, when a personal quest for natural health solutions and a deep immersion in Hatha Yoga revealed the profound connection between the body’s energetic channels and vibrant well-being. This led her to formal studies in Adelaide, where she earned a Bachelor of Health Science in Acupuncture while apprenticing for six transformative years under the late Graham Townsend, a revered pulse diagnostician and acupuncturist.

In 2024, Athira trained intensively under the guidance of Classical Chinese Medicine master, Ann Cecil Sterman, delving deeply into the subtle wisdom of the body’s sixty-six acupuncture channels. Today, her practice embodies the respect of this ancient tradition, addressing a spectrum of conditions—from musculoskeletal ailments and chronic degenerative disorders to neurological imbalances and emotional unrest. At the heart of her approach lies a fundamental belief in the digestive system as the cornerstone of health, a principle that informs her tailored use of acupuncture, herbal formula, and remedial dietary therapy.

For those in South Australia, Athira offers in-person consultations in North Adelaide and Stirling. For distant clients, she extends the same depth of care through remote channel healing sessions via telehealth. Whether in person or across continents, her work aims to honour the enduring power of nature, balance, and the body’s innate capacity for renewal.
